ABOUT IQAC
The IQAC was established in on 5th May, 2012 as per the UGC 12th plan guidelines. IQAC has contributed significantly in the following areas:
- Preparation and implementation of academic calendar and activity calendar, lesson plans, course outcomes and programme outcomes in close coordination with different departments of the Institution
- Introduction of Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure quality learning
- Introduction of student induction programme
- Establishment of smart class room for effective learning
- Ensuring regularity of classes and tutorial classes for slow learners and advanced learners
- Initiatives in enabling the facilities of power point projectors in most of the classrooms
- Introduction of Certificate Courses and Value-added Courses in collaboration with various departments of the Institution.
- Assistance for preparation of curriculum for Certificate Courses and Value-added Courses
- Organizes internal workshops, internal training for the non-teaching staffs and state-level seminars for both teachers and students for quality improvement
- Achieving transparency in the internal examination system through introduction of seat planning and showing answer scripts to students
- Mentor-mentee mechanism introduced
- E-resource facilities through INFLIBNET-NLIST
- Facilitating online classes and evaluation during the pandemic
- Faculties are encouraged to publish papers and carry out research activities
- Provides inputs for academic audit
- Assists in promotion under CAS
- Conducting parent-teacher meeting and discussing the performance of their wards
- Collection and analysis of feedback from different stakeholders viz., students, teachers, guardians alumni and appropriate action taken on the basis of the feedback
- Initiatives for plastic free green campus
- MOUs signed with different institutions
- Timely submission of AISHE report
- Organizes ICT workshop and skill development training for non-teaching employees
- Installation of e-governance in administration, finance, examination and student support services
