Establishment of Department :
The Department of sociology of Nahata Jogendra Smriti Mahavidyalaya established in the year 2013(General Courses). At present BA General Courses are running successfully good number of student.
The vision of the Sociology Department is to-
1. Promote development of self through identifying inner strength.
2. Instilling in students, the idea of becoming responsible citizen and individual.
3. Finally, develop and provide quality education and involve all to create an equal society.
The mission of the Sociology Department is to-
1. Create ideal academic ambience.
2. Instill in students the essence of analytical and critical understanding.
3. Bridging the gap between theory and research and develop sociological imagination.
4. Maintain Inclusive environment and curriculum.
5. Train students to become self-dependent and empowered.
6. Promote maintenance of social values and ethics.
