The Bengali Department of Nahata. JogengranathMondalSmritiMahavidyalaya wasestablished in 1985. The HonoursCourse started in. 2002. There are One fulltime. Teacher and six SACT Teachers in the department sanctioned by the Government of West Bengal. The Department always stood as an inspiration as well as guide for the learners to pursuetheirhigher studies in the discipline of Bengali language and literature. Initially the number of students were comparatively low.However, it has been increasing in the recent times. Most of Our graduate students are alsoprovided With the Postgraduate course in this College Since 2019 without travelling far from their homes. It was a great achievement in our Bengali Department.
Establishment of Department :
The Department of Bengali of Nahata Jogendra Smriti Mahavidyalaya established in the year 1985(General Courses) , 1995 (Hons Courses) & 2019 (Post Graduate Course).
The vision of the. Bengali Department, NahataJogendranathSmritiMahavidyalaya is to Nurture the local talent closely associated with Bengali language and literature. All the Teachers in our department devoted best of their knowledge and skills in this College. It started functioning in 1985. Students are taught to express themselves freely and smoothly by bringing out the inner potentialities and make them aware of Indian Culture and their responsibilities.
The Mission of the Postgraduate Department of Bengaliaims at creating an environment conductive got Promotion of global education, training and equipping students with in- depth knowledge and intellectual tools to. engage global and Nation specific linguistic challenges arising in the literary studies.
